MYRTLE BEACH GOLF ADVENTURE
April 2010
The Ottawa Out Golfing Group is planning to kick off the 2010 golf season in fine style with a golf adventure to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in April 2010. Myrtle Beach is a year-round golfing paradise. Just talk to those who have visited before and you will see why avid golfers return time and time again.
Our Myrtle Beach Golf Adventure is tentatively planned for either the week of April 10-17 or April 17-24, 2010. The dates will be confirmed at package booking.
Our golf adventure is tentatively planned for us to stay at the luxurious Legends Resort Condos, only a 10-minute drive to the heart of Myrtle Beach.
In the past, our Myrtle Beach Golf Adventure has cost between US$700 - $850 per golfer (quad occupancy) and has typically included (price subject to change based on the date/time we confirm registration and the number of golfers who register):
- 7 nights luxury accommodations at the Legends Resort Condos (2 bedrooms (2 double beds per room), 2 bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, plus much more)
- 5 rounds of golf including power cart
- Daily buffet breakfast is available for an additional fee (usually in the range of US$50 per golfer for the week)
- All surcharges and taxes
- An unforgettable time!
Your Myrtle Beach golf adventure does not plan to include:
- Transportation to/from Myrtle Beach. Each participant is responsible to arrange their own transportation to/from Myrtle Beach.
- Transportation while in Myrtle Beach. Effort is made to coordinate vehicle rentals (dependent on the number of golfers requiring transportation while in Myrtle Beach). If you will need transportation while in Myrtle Beach, please inform the coordinator (rmeagher@istar.ca or 1-888-484-9118, ext.101.)
- Meals. The villas at the Legends Resort include a fully-equipped kitchen should you choose to make any of your own meals.
If you would like to participate in the 2010 edition of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group Myrtle Beach Golf Adventure, please inform the coordinator (rmeagher@istar.ca or 1-888-484-9118, ext.101.) by February 2010. Once all interested parties have confirmed/expressed their interest, we will propose to have a meeting to discuss details of the trip (i.e., dates, accommodation, courses to play, schedule for the week, etc.) and then final arrangements will be made with the travel agent for the golf package.

This year, the golf camps will be tailored to the individual golfer (whether novice, intermediate or advanced). The interested golfer will register with the Coordinator by the end of April 2010 and then the Coordinator will work with the golfer to design a 3-part series of lessons spanning May 15, 22, and 29, that are tailored to the needs of the golfer.
Each session (May 15, 22 and 29) will last 30 minutes. Scheduling of each session will be confirmed in advance (once the quantity of golfers is confirmed).
Space will be limited to 10 golfers, so register early if you are interested in participating in these lessons.
There will be no instructional fees for the lessons. There may be a fee for use of the practice facilities (this would be confirmed with the golfer in advance).
