Facebook Site for Ottawa Out Golfing Group

The Ottawa Out Golfing Group is on Facebook. Registered members of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group are invited and encouraged to use our Facebook site to communicate with each other. The Facebook site can be used to facilitate rounds of golf outside of our regular schedule, to provide feedback on courses, to sell or buy used equipment, to tell of a great golf experience you recently had, or to let everyone else know about a great deal they have seen, etc.

The Ottawa Out Golfing Group Facebook site is private (to registered members of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group members); the general public can only see basic information about the Group. Registered members can see all content, including who other members of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group are– a benefit and improvement over any/all communication received through our regular newsletter. Please also note that we post pictures of events when available, for viewing by Group members only. By joining the Ottawa Out Golfing Group Facebook site, you are consenting to possibly having your picture posted on our Facebook site. Remember, because the Ottawa Out Golfing Group Facebook site is private, only registered members of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group will be able to see any pictures that are posted.

To register with the Ottawa Out Golfing Group, please contact the coordinator at 1-888-484-9118, ext.101, or via email at rmeagher@istar.ca. To get connected to our Facebook site:

1. Go to www.facebook.com and sign up to become a member of Facebook.
2. Once you are a member of Facebook, search for “Ottawa Out Golfing Group” using the Facebook search utility.
3. Once you find the Ottawa Out Golfing Group Facebook Group, request to become a member. It may take several days for the administrator to confirm you are a registered member of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group. If you are not a registered member of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group, please follow the instructions above to become a registered member.
4. Once you are a member of the Ottawa Out Golfing Group Facebook Group, use the “Wall” or “Discussion” board to start communicating with other Ottawa Out Golfing Group members.
